So... how did we end up here?
I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness, but spent years following trends from social media. I felt so confused, because everyone was promoting a different style of training or diet.
“Plyometrics will get you shredded”
“You have to lift heavy to lose weight”
“Pilates is the best way to get lean”
... I felt like I was losing my mind.
In my first year and a half at my corporate tech job, I really neglected my health and gained about 30 pounds of fat. It was a dark time for me. I struggled with my body image, felt constantly fatigued, and knew I wasn’t taking care of myself.

I spent a year trying to lose that weight while working full-time. In my free time, I listened to podcasts and watched hundreds (yes, hundreds) of YouTube videos on fat loss. I tried EVERYTHING I could to look and feel better, but nothing I tried would stick. I felt so frustrated.
I kept thinking,
"Is it really that hard to write a fun, efficient, & effective workout program?”
Apparently, yes.
I spent hundreds of dollars on fitness apps and programs… and nothing helped.


It felt like the creators of these programs had never experienced a busy commercial gym at 7 AM on a Tuesday, or realized how challenging it is to find time for five hour-long sessions each week.
After a year of struggling to balance my health with a demanding job, I decided to quit my full-time job to try to create something for myself, and everyone facing the same problem. I dove headfirst into research and earned my personal training and nutrition certifications.
